We all know that pizza is an all-time favorite and the cheese in it melts everyone's heart. But a homemade pizza is the best since it can be customized according to your taste and liking. In this recipe, you will learn to make the pizza from scratch and you will enjoy it.

Every pizza tastes amazing with a flavorful sauce, in this pizza the marinara sauce is the charm of the dish. And the topping with your choice of sausage(preferably BBQ sausage), veggies, chicken and cheese just elevates the taste of a pizza.

Serve: 4 Prep Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins Total Time: 1 hr

Ingredients:

Marinara Sauce

4 large Tomatoes

1 small Onion

2 tbsp Garlic minced

2 tbsp Olive oil

2 small Green Chili

1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder

1 tsp Oregano

1 tsp Mixed Herb

1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Salt as per taste

Toppings

4 cups Mozzarella Cheese

6 large Barbecue Chicken Sausage

Garnish

Coriander

Grated Cheese

Oregano

Let's get cooking:

Marinara Sauce

1. Take the tomatoes and make a cross slit on the top, and put it in hot boiling water. Let it boil until the skin of the tomato starts peeling off. Once the skin has started peeling off remove it from the flame and let it cool. If the tomato has cooled down then start peeling off its skin.

3. In a pan, heat olive oil and to that add the remaining half onion and garlic(finely chopped), tomato mixture, oregano, Parmesan cheese and salt. Let it cook and add water if needed for a saucy consistency.

Pizza Assembling

1. Preheat the oven to 240°C

2. To the pizza crust, spread the marinara sauce, put the slices of sausage, and tear the mozzarella into pieces and scatter over the pizza.

3. Drizzle over a little oil and put it in the oven for 15 - 20 mins or until the base looks crispy and brown.

Serve it hot with grated Parmesan cheese, oregano and some fresh coriander.
