Cloud Eggs

Cloud eggs or eggs nests, whatever you call them they are a delightful way to prepare eggs! Starting the day with a beautiful looking breakfast just brightens a boring day.

You basically whip up the egg whites, form cloud or nest shapes with the whipped egg whites, and plop the egg yolk in the center, and bake.

Serve: 1 Prep Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins Total Time: 20 mins

Ingredients:

Cloud

1 large Egg

1/2 tsp Oregano

1 tsp Black pepper

Salt as per taste

Garnish

Toasted Bread

Chicken Salami

Dill

Spinach

Let's get cooking:

1. Take two bowls, break an egg, and separate the white from its yoke. To the egg white add salt, pepper, and oregano and beat the egg until stiff peaks for 2 - 3 minutes.

2. Dollop the egg white on to the pan, make a small well in the middle of each with the back of a spoon and put the lid on and let it cook

3. Cook the whites until they are firm, no longer wet, and just beginning to turn brown, about 6 minutes. Gently pour 1 yolk into the well of each white. Cook until the edges of the yolk just start to set while still being runny, 3 to 4 minutes.

4. Fry some chicken salami, toast the bread and serve it with the egg cloud

Serve the egg with the salami and sprinkle some dill and oregano.
