You will need eggs, water and ice to make the best boiled eggs.

Bring your water to a boil.
Gently place the eggs in the water, and when the water comes back to a boil, lower it to a simmer.
Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
Then remove with a slotted spoon, transfer to the colander, cool under cold running water to stop the cooking, and serve warm.
6 - 8 mins Egg or Semi Hard Boiled Egg
Place water into a 3-quart saucepan with a lid. Place over high heat and bring to a low boil.
Carefully place eggs in the water.
Cover pan immediately, reduce heat to medium-high, and cook for 9 1/2 minutes.
Remove pan from heat and cool eggs down with cold running water, tipping out the water, and continuing to run cold water over the eggs until they are cool.
15 mins Egg or Hard Boiled Egg
Fill a saucepan about a quarter of the way with cold water. Place over high heat and turn the heat to high and bring the water to a rolling boil.
Carefully place eggs in the water.
Depending on how cooked you like your hard boiled eggs, the eggs should be done perfectly after sitting for 15 minutes.
Strain the hot water from the pan, careful not to dump out the eggs, and run cold water over them until they are cool to the touch. This will stop the eggs from cooking further and make them easier to peel.
Tip:
One of the best tips I have learned all these years of making boiled egg is that 1 tbsp of salt or even 1 tbsp of white vinegar will prevent the egg shell from cracking and give you the perfect round egg
