Tomato Spinach Omelete

Omelet is a popular breakfast world wide. They are delicious and perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Learn how to make the best omelets that are fluffy, healthy, and oh so yummy. This recipe is an easy and healthy option to kick start a lazy morning. An omelet makes a fantastic breakfast seasoned with just salt and pepper, but this recipe has more than just that. Including some healthy options to your breakfast can add to to your the protein content of the egg.

Egg being a versatile ingredient can be mixed and combined with really healthy ingredient. Adding extra nutrients to your breakfast by stirring in chopped garlic, fresh spinach and tomato can amplify the flavor of an omelet. You can even add cheese if preferred for some extra flavor. Enjoy this recipe with a cup a hot coffee.



Serve: 4 Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins Total Time: 25 mins

Ingredients:

4 large Eggs

2 tbsp Garlic

1 cup Spinach

1/2 cup Tomato

2 medium Green Chili (if required)

1 tsp Turmeric

Salt as per taste


Garnish

Oregano

Peri Peri powder


Let's get started

1. In a bowl beat the eggs for until fluffy. To that, add the chopped garlic, spinach, tomato, turmeric, green chili and salt, and beat for another min.


2. In a pan, add the mixture in 4 parts. Put a lid and cook the omelet on a low flame. Once the top looks firm or less runny, flip the omelet and cook it on the other side.


3. Remove the omelet from the pan and sprinkle some peri peri powder/ oregano for extra added flavor or grate some cheese.


Serve it hot along with toast and coffee/ tea.
